Wolfe & Travis Electric Company has been in business since December 1967 and is locally owned and operated. Our history is based on a long list of successfully completed projects and satisfied customers that span the years we have been in business.
Our company strives to provide quality installations with career minded personnel. We have Superintendents and Field Personnel that have been with our organization for over 24 years. The success of our company comes from our reputation as a solid and dependable electrical contractor with a strong desire to give our customers the best service possible.
Our diverse project background includes:
Hospitals, Commercial Office Buildings, Hotels and Convention Centers, Restaurants, Water Treatment Plants, Industrial Plants, Historical Renovations, Studios, Emergency Power Distribution Power Plants, Data Centers and Medium Voltage Power Distribution Systems.
The company’s first major project was the Holiday Inn Vanderbilt. Located on West End Avenue, the hotel is still in full operation today. The next major project was for Vanderbilt University, it entailed a ten story, two-tower dormitories which are now known as Carmichael Towers Three and Four. From this starting point we moved on to Opryland Theme Park and many notable projects.

The Nashville Convention Center and Hotel, Opryland Hotel and Convention Center, Opry Mills Mall, Lifeway Office Tower, Commerce Office Tower, Bicentennial Mall, Tennessee Data Processing Center, Vanderbilt Medical Center Clinical Care Tower Expansion and the renovations to the Tennessee State Capitol Building.
