We are a second-generation company with the third generation coming. This generational history includes management and our field team of skilled electricians and their families. Our consortium of career-minded personnel strives to provide quality installations that are successful for us and our clients.

Our Founder, Donald Ray Wolfe Sr, said, “You build it, and we’ll wire it.” That get it done and done right
philosophy has morphed into “Complexity Simplified” as our mode of operation. We aim to identify and divide all phases of your project that we will be associated with and create a plan to install and

make your electrical distribution system operational. Today we employ the latest construction
technics using Digital Information Systems, BIM, and Smart Digital Layout Technology.

Our reputation as one of Nashville’s leading electrical contractors has come from decades of hard,
determined work and commitment from our team of excellent Superintendents, Field Electricians, and
Project Managers. We have long-term personnel with over two decades of service with our company.
Each project has its unique characteristics. We strive to identify them and plan an installation
equal to the task. Our company has completed many diverse and complicated projects since 1967.
Types of Projects and Markets we have historically worked in include Hospitals, Commercial Office
Buildings, Hotels, and Convention Centers, Water Treatment Plants, Industrial Plants, Historical
Renovations, Data Centers, Life Safety and Power Distribution Systems, and Medium Voltage projects, including 5 / 15 / 25 kV power Distribution Systems.

Our first major project in 1968 was Vanderbilt Holiday Inn located on West End Avenue and later, K.R.
Herrington Water Treatment Plant, both are still in operation today. From this starting point, we went on
to build Nashville’s first and only Amusement Park, Opryland, USA and later, the 2888 Room
Gaylord/Opryland Hotel Resort and Convention Center, and Water Park.

Projects have included Nashville’s first Convention Center and Renaissance Hotel, The Westin Hotel,
Opry Mills Mall, Commerce Street Office Tower, Renovations to the Grand Ole Opry House and Ryman
Auditorium, Bicentennial Mall State Park and Tennessee State Capitol renovations, Tennessee Data
Processing Center, Vanderbilt Medical Center Critical Care Tower with multiple expansions and
renovations and expansions to Metro Nashville BNA Airport and Parking Garages.

 We offer a variety of electrical contracting services to accommodate various markets.

Hard Bid, Design-Build, Design-Assist and Budget Assist

Our efforts include Power Distribution Systems for High Voltage 69kV, Medium Voltage 5 – 15kV and Low Voltage 120 – 480V. Emergency Power Distribution Systems including Generator Power Systems, installations and coordination of Mechanical connections for the Exhaust and Fuel Systems. We include Lighting Systems and we offer Value Engineering Packages if requested. Lighting control options are offered from motion sensor switches through fully automated light control and dimmer systems. Fire Alarm, Security and Sound Systems are offered as requested. We have worked on LEED projects and assist the engineer in the proper certifications.

Project Management, Scheduling, Estimating, Cost Control, and installation coordination are part of the package with our company. Extensive field experience and apprentice-style training of our staff bring a solid, well-rounded base for our company personnel. We participate in a 4 year ABC Apprenticeship program and work with local high schools.  

These efforts are all included to accommodate markets in Light and Heavy Commercial Projects, Industrial, Data Centers, Hospitals, Historic Renovations, Hotels, and Convention Centers and Water Treatment facilities.

Specialty Projects including Commercial Swimming Pool play areas, Switchgear upgrades, and replacements during active operation environments, Repair of damaged Switchgear Sections with Cutler-Hammer, GE, and Square D, construction of Power House Buildings / Vaults and Power Quality Testing and Metering.

We work hard to do the installation right the first time, per Codes and per Plans.
